Does living and working on an island limit Vancouver Island’s potential for developing a strong and sustainable economy?
Emphatically, no.
In fact, it may be an advantage.
That’s the message I heard at the recent Vancouver Island Economic Alliance’s Annual Summit. Delegates from Island businesses and communities shared stories of how they achieved their goals by working together to overcome the watery separation from the mainland and export markets.
