The Public Administration Sector on Vancouver Island

Public Administration on Vancouver Island encompasses all three branches of government, First Nations administration, and international governmental organizations operating in the region. This sector includes national defence and the maintenance of public safety, immigration services, tax administration, the production and establishment of legislation, and the distribution of government programs.

Employment numbers in the public administration sector on Vancouver Island are bolstered by Victoria being the seat of the BC provincial government.
