Forests are identified across the globe as critical to climate health and stability. What do we know and what are we doing?
This panel will be moderated by the Acting Deputy Chief Forester who will share insight into the priorities of the Office. We will hear from a leading researcher on climate change with a focus on using forest land to maximize carbon efficiency. We will learn about the progress of the new inclusive Forest Landscape Plans. You will also hear from the BC Forest Practices Board about the recently released Water Report and the Boards recommendations on how we can help improve protection of this critical resource.
