Past Economic Summits

The Vancouver Island Economic Alliance has been hosting the Economic Summit annually since 2007. These ‘Summits’ are grassroots opportunities for people from all over Vancouver Island and beyond to share ideas, discover opportunities, and explore solutions to nagging problems.

Sessions focus on a broad range of trends, challenges, opportunities and stories–whatever is most relevant and ‘close to the ground’ for the 500-600 delegates attending. Presenters have included the Premier of BC, Governor of the Bank of Canada, federal Minister of Employment and Social Development, Chief Commissioner of the BC Treaty Commissioner, and more…
