Robert Asselin is Senior Global Director, Public Policy for Blackberry, Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto and Fellow at the Public Policy Forum. He has served as Policy and Budget Director to Canada’s Finance Minister, Associate Director of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa, Visiting Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, and as a Policy Advisor to Prime Ministers Paul Martin and Justin Trudeau.
Mr. Asselin will be joined by Shachi Kurl, Executive Director of the Angus Reid Institute and moderator, Dan Hurley of VIU interpreting what the federal election results will mean for Vancouver Island.
