Without much fanfare, over 100 clean-technology companies have taken root on Vancouver Island providing high-value, full-time jobs and strengthening local economies. They are working hard to make domestic sales and to carve out competitive positions in fast-growing global markets. Progress has been difficult but with global demand and supportive governments in place, conditions have never been better to capitalize on our know-how and realize a once-in-a-generation economic opportunity for the Island and for Canada as a whole.
Come to this workshop and explore with three senior industry leaders what VI can become in clean tech and how the three levels of government can support the industry’s growth and prosperity.
Panelists:
Tom Zaban, Executive VP, Reliable Controls
Dr. Judith Sayers, Director, Clean Energy BC
Voytek Klaptocz, Technical Director, Mavi Innovations Inc.
Moderator: Bert Zethof, Principal, Zethof Consulting Group
