Networking amongst decision-makers is always #1 at the Economic Summit. This year we’re enhancing connection by providing two hours for meeting new leaders, contributing towards planning, exploring opportunities, and investigating funding sources. Engage!
One of these sessions will include a meeting with Pacific Economic Development Canada (PacifCan), the new federal regional development agency dedicated to British Columbia’s evolving economy. PacifiCan is strengthening its regional presence, including on Vancouver Island and Coast. Agency staff will be available to outline PacifiCan’s roles and mandate, provide an update on the organization’s implementation, and engage with participants to learn about their priorities for economic development.
