Premier Horgan to open Island Economic Summit
Premier John Horgan will deliver an opening address at the 13th annual Vancouver Island State of the Island Economic Summit, scheduled for Oct. 23-24 in Nanaimo.
The annual conference brings together businesses and stakeholders on the Island to understand the economy and where it’s heading.
The conference will be held at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo.
“It is always valuable to have the premier provide [an] insightful update on the economic state of the province as well as perspective regarding issues vital to our success on Vancouver Island,” said Mark Smith, chair of the summit.
