Session Announcement: Research Partnerships Powering Island Potential

The Vancouver Island region is home to three Universities and two Colleges. Together, these Post-Secondary institutions collaborate with industry, community and government partners on applied research projects that stimulate new insights and innovation in the region. In this session, a panel will highlight three examples where applied research is contributing to the growth of seafood, seaweed, and clean energy sectors. Delegates will gain awareness about the intellectual capital in the region and an understanding about how to access partnerships with our regional post-secondaries for applied research and innovation.
