Throughout the year, VIEA will be holding open Board meetings, presentations regarding current priorities and initiatives, and signature events such as Linking Island Business and the State of the Island Economic Summit.  

JANUARY 13, 2012 – Royal Roads University, Victoria, BC – Open VIEA Board meeting and video conference on ‘Economic Gardening’ connected with groups gathered in Nanaimo, Port Alberni and Kelowna

FEBRUARY 16, 2012 – Vancouver Island University, Deep Bay Marine Field Station – Open VIEA Board meeting, sponsor reception and presentation  

MARCH 22, 2012 – Campbell River, BC – Breakfast meeting and presentation hosted by MNP  

MARCH 22, 2012 – Port McNeill, BC – Open VIEA Board meeting hosted by Community Futures, Mount Waddington   

MARCH 23, 2012 – Port Hardy, BC – Reception and presentation hosted by the Regional District of Mount Waddington at the Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre  

APRIL 11, 2012 – Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, Qualicum Beach, BC – 2nd annual ‘Linking Island Business’ tradeshow and business networking event – 11am – 6pm  

April 12, 2012 – Pheasant Glen Golf Resort, Qualicum Beach, BC – Enjoy a round of golf and some business networking – TBD
