“Build It and They Will Come”: Insights on Tourism Product Development
Destination success in tourism is reliant on the availability of high quality products or visitor experiences that can be promoted to external markets. While the Island region has excellent marketing systems in place, the products available to promote must continue to be developed. In this panel session, delegates will be exposed to a variety of examples of tourism products and learn about the actions taken to turn them from ideas into reality. The stories will provide inspiration and insight to businesses, communities and organizations to create visitor experiences that add to the regions attractiveness for visiting markets.
